Metallica is an American heavy metal band founded in Los Angeles, California in 1981. Formed when drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in a local newspaper, Metallica's original line-up consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, lead guitarist Dave Mustaine, and bassist Ron McGovney. McGovney and Mustaine were later kicked out of the band, and guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Cliff Burton replaced them. The ejection of Mustaine resulted in a long-running feud between Metallica and his band Megadeth. In 1986 Metallica's tour bus skidded out of control, and Burton was crushed under the bus and was killed. Jason Newsted replaced him, although he left the band in 2001 and was replaced by Robert Trujillo in 2003.

They are Hoobastank and they are from Agoura Hills, California, United States; they play in a post-grundge kind of style, some times in a alternative rock style aswell.

Sum41

Here I am to talk about one of my favorite bands , Sum41. For the people who dont know them , they are a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario.

The members are :
Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitar);
Cone McCaslin (bass guitar, backing vocals);
Steve Jocz (drums, backing vocals).




They oficialy play since 1999 , in a nice punk-rock style that most adolescent people enjoy.

Nirvana

Nirvana was a band formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, with the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl (actually band = Foo Fighters), who joined the band in 1990.

Nirvana's brief run ended with Cobain's death in April 1994... but the singles still remain in cd´s and in our hearts.

Foo Fighters

Hello fellow blogers , i leave you here with the new hit from Foo Fighters: The Pretender , but, not before giving you a small description about them.

They are composed of 4 members:

Dave Grohl the lead singer and guitar player;
Taylor Hawkins the master of the drums;
Nate Mendel plays the bass;
Chris Shiflett on the guitar.

They were formed in 1995 in Seattle, Usa; and usualy play a grunge/rock style.
